Deanna Lynn Drunasky went to her resting place with God on Friday, October 9, 2015 after a long illness.
Deanna graduated from Sun Prairie High School and then attended Palmer Chiropractor College.
She worked at University Hospital, Madison Wisconsin for 35 years. Deanna was very active in Homemakers Club of Sun Prairie, the Sun Prairie Garden Club and the Sound of Sun Prairie Band. Deanna was born in Madison, Wisconsin and was the youngest daughter to Rita and Robert Drunasky. Deanna was so talented with her ceramics and beautiful painting. She taught ceramics to many in Arizona. She was also talented in making wedding cakes, and was always eager to try any new project. Her sewing was beautiful in clothes and quilts. She had many friends in Wisconsin and Arizona. Deanna also loved gardening with flowers and vegetables. Her talents were endless.
Deanna is survived by her children, Robert “Robby” Durst of Sun Prairie, WI and Teckla Adams of Mesa AZ; a grandson Andrew Durst of Sun Prairie; her sisters, Delores “Dee Dee” (Tom) Baldauf of Mesa AZ, and Gail (Dave) Fitzgerald of Neshkoro, WI; her nieces Alicia Baldauf of Mesa AZ, Dawn (Aaron) Anderson of Henderson, NV, nephew Todd (Jill) Skolaski of Lyndon Station, WI along with many others.
Deanna was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Rita Drunasky, sisters, Lois Skolaski and Carol Feiler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 227 Columbus Street, Sun Prairie with Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt presiding. Interment will be at Sacred Hearts Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie from 9:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.
Deanna loved life and always had a smile for everyone. She was a kind and loving sister and friend and will be missed by many. She left us too early, but she is no longer suffering.
