David R. Weisensel, age 60, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, June 29, 2016. He was born July 23, 1955, the son of Russel and Mary Devine Weisensel.
He is survived by his mother Mary, sisters Kathleen Schink of Potosi, Maureen (Tony) Kilian of New Richmond; brothers, Brian of Waterloo, Daniel (Jan Chapelle) of Sun Prairie and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Russel; a nephew, Timothy Weisensel, sister-in-law, Karla Gooch Weisensel and brother-in-law Thomas Schink.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in East Bristol with Father Vincent Brewer presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to MARC, or Catholic Charities.
