While many years have passed since I lived in Sun Prairie, I fondly remember Mr. Genzmer as my driving instructor. A final drive time had my driving partner and I wanting to celebrate at Ella's Deli. Mr. Genzmer was adament about his inability to leave the car (per school rules), but said that he really couldn't control what we did. One quick left turn on E. Wash, two students running past the merry-go-round, and three minutes later, we were all enjoying ice cream cones inside the car. Loved that he let us bend the rules, just briefly, for a memory that will always make me smile. Thoughts and prayers for the entire Genzmer family at this time.
