Cynthia K. Grob, age 65, died on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at her home in Sun Prairie. She was born on March 15, 1950 in Madison to Bernard “Poppy” and Dorothy (Fredenberg) Wagner. She married Daniel Grob on March 4, 1972 at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie. Cynthia worked at the Wisconsin Porcelain for over 32 years. During her retirement she helped care for her mother and sister. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens. She is survived by her husband Dan; children Holly Zimmerman (Michael Hutchings) of Winthrop Harbor, IL, and Chad Zimmerman of Sun Prairie; mother Dorothy Wagner of Sun Prairie; sisters Linda (Jim) Chadwick of Cottage Grove and Mary Wagner of Sun Prairie; brother Douglas Wagner of Sun Prairie, Daniel (Cynthia) Wagner of Columbus and Dale Wagner of Sun Prairie; 2 nieces, Charisma Chadwick and Angie Wagner; 1 great niece Shaianne Olson; 1 great nephew Jacob Krebs; and many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father “Poppy”; father and mother-in-law Raphael Sr. and Rosetta Grob.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 232 Windsor St. in Sun Prairie with Pastor Luke Werre presiding. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St. Sun Prairie and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Thursday. A Private Interment will be held at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens.
