Clara Belle (Terry) Daveler was lifted into the arms of the Lord on August 23, 2013 at Golden Living, in Beaver Dam.
She was a cook at Holiday Inn for many years and in her later years, she was a Nutrition Aid at Bashford Church where she loved socializing with the “older people”. She was a devoted mom to 5 children and adored her grandkids and great-grandkids. She fought Alzheimer's for years with amazing strength and courage…and was still her spunky self at all stages of the disease, telling jokes and making everyone laugh and had a smile that could light up a room.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam (Bill) Bradley, Candy Purcell (special friend, Phillip Kerl), Sandy (Steve) Davidson; 2 sons John (Glenda) Daveler, Mike (Christy) Daveler; 9 grandkids and 13 great-grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Mary (Dahl) Delaney; her sister Mary Aldridge: 3 brothers Tom, Charles and William; and her best friend and long- time companion, Earl Daveler.
She left a smile with everyone that she met through her life and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. There is no doubt that she will be walking into heaven with a handful of mints in her pocket and handing them out to people she sees .A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday September 7, 2013 at Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
