Clara B. Anderson, age 88, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Sun Prairie Health Care Center. She was born on December 3, 1928 in Mosinee to Arthur and Eva (Akey) Clark. She was married to James Nelson, then later married Earl Anderson, who she was with until his passing.
Clara lived in Wisconsin Rapids, Waterloo, Portage, and most recently in Sun Prairie. She worked at Central Wisconsin Center in Madison for nearly 30 years as a nurse's aide. Clara cared deeply for her family, as they were the one thing she was most passionate about.
She is survived by her children; Colleen (Jack) Erdmann, Timothy (Mary) Nelson, and Debra Nelson; daughters-in-law Sarah Nelson and Bonnie Nelson; grandchildren, Amelia, Jacque and Stephen (Liz) Nelson, Tina McClain, Eva (Greg) Allen, Mark, Bryan, Michelle, Shawn (Sarah), and Erin (Mack) Nelson; 15 great-grandchildren; and her step-children, Scott (June) Anderson, Patricia Dahlen, Michael (Lourdes) Anderson and Courtney DeVos.
She was preceded in death by her parents Eva and Arthur; husbands, James Nelson and Earl Anderson; 2 sons Clark Nelson and Kenneth Nelson; 3 brothers; and 5 sisters.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday September 15, 2017 at Moundville United Methodist Church, W5501 County Road O, in Endeavor, WI. Rev. Susan Oeffler will preside. Visitation 10 to 11, service at 11:00 a.m.
