Charles H. Otto “Tuna”, age 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. He was born on December 22, 1940 in Madison and was the son of Robert and Altah (Krause) Otto. He married Fay Buchanan on October 27, 1962 at the Methodist Church.
Chuck worked for Admiral TV and later was the very first employee at Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Sun Prairie. During his retirement he worked for Brooks Tractor in Sun Prairie.
He is survived by his wife Fay; 2 children, Dawn (Keith) Krenke; Dan Otto; 3 grandchildren, Megan Paskey, Erin Paskey, Ryan Paskey; 2 great grandchildren Madalyn and Briley; a brother, Robert (Sherry) Otto, a sister Kathleen Musselman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie. A private burial will be held at a later date at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens.
