Charles Daniel Hemenway Sr., age 83, died on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015 at U.W. Hospitals in Madison. He was born on May 5, 1932 in Shelton, CN. He married Gretchen Kernen in 1987. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife Gretchen; sons, Charles Jr. (Rose), Chad, Clayton (Brenda);
grandchildren, Jessie, Brandon (Bimini), Joshua, Cory, Kyle, Kari (Juan) Olalde; great grandchildren, Brayden and Lyndon, Hemenway, Thomas, Karter, Kace and Karson Olalde; step-children, Kel (Ken) Alrutz, Shad (Julie) Kernen ; step grandchildren, Rikki Alrutz, Graham Alrutz, Briana, Jordan and Travis Kernen and step-great grandson Theo Alrutz. As to Charles wishes there will be a private family gathering.
