Carol, what a wonderful character you were! Was there nothing you wouldn't try? No where you wouldn't go? I enjoyed your stories, your writing, your enthusiasm for life. Rest in peace. To Carol's family, my sympathies for your loss. Although we seldom met, and in some cases never met, she always talked of you with a mother's pride. Take care and enjoy life as much as she did.

Dear Carolrose and family. I knew Carol since we were 9 years old I'll never forget Paulina Street in Chicago,Our Lady of Lourdes School. the Rosewood theater, the Sugar Bowl, your mother's house where we acted out our favorite movies especially "China" with Alan Ladd. Also the many summer trips on the train to your mother's orchard where we city girls usually with our friend "Babs" could ride horses, get poisin Ivy, feed the animals, and have many adventures. Later when we both had kids we would still get together for family events and holidays in that dream house your husband Donald and your kids built-by- hand overlooking the Wisconsin River with seasonal views that were breath-taking. For some of your many travels I was with you - it was always adventurous and even educational! Even when your health in late years caused you to use a scooter it didn't slow you down -never 1. In Mexico you got out of that scooter and rode a mule down into a canyon that the other tourists wouldn't go down in a Jeep!! I will miss you as thou you were my sister, my children miss you like a real Aunt, and we will never forget you. Carol of the big heart who always found something interesting in everyone she met and they felt better for it. May her big heart rest now in the warmth of his Sacred Heart. I will never forget you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I feel very fortunate to have known Carol. I'll always remember the day trips she and I made from Sun Prairie to sample cheeses, have lunch, and enjoy a summer day.

To the Thielman Family: This is to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as it is not easy to have lost a family member. One of my greatest memories of Aunt Carol was her love for Arbian Horses and the fun my sibblings and I had visiting her up north in the house on the Wisconsin River. It was always so peace full and beautiful at night when the sun rose and set. Plus having fun in the barns and fields but did not like the bears that hung around. Love you Irene
