Carol D. Rollins, age 91 passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Nazareth House in Stoughton. She was born on March 26, 1923 in the Town of Norrie and was the daughter of August and Minnie (Hetzel) Schultz. She married Norvel Rollins on November 19, 1942 in Chicago, IL. Carol worked for Howard Aircraft Corp., J.C Penny and the State of WI, DILHR.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Kilian of Poynette; 3 grandchildren, Kathleen Turner, Jennifer (Fiancee Steve Morgan) Kilian, Mark (Fiancee Tami Norris) Kilian; 7 great grandchildren, Troy, Cory, Jimmy, Brad, J.T. Adar and Wyatt.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Norvel; a son Steve; 2 sisters, Loretta and Martell and a brother, Roger.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 550 Lincoln Dr. in Sun Prairie. Pastor Julie Krahn will preside. A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Thursday. Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens in Cottage Grove.

Aunt Carol was my Godmother and she lived with our family for a few years in her late teens. I always thought of her as an older sister. She used to invite me to spend a week in summer when I was growing up and she taught me so many things. We took some vacations together and always enjoyed that. Rest in peace, Aunt Carol. You were loved.

We all thought a lot of Aunt Carol and she was our last living Aunt. She made many trips to our home when we were growing up and she continued to keep in touch as we became older and had our own families. Our children were fortunate in getting to know her also. Will always remember all the good times and her kind heart. We will all miss you, Aunt Carol.

We have wonderful memories of our great aunt. She was so thoughtful to me growing up and would send birthday cards and a dollar and continued doing it with my own children when she could. She will be missed and we send our condolences to your family. My grandparents always enjoyed their visits with Carol and would share stories of their visits with us. We will always remember her. God bless!
