Beverly LaDonna Baines, age 58, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at her home. She was born on May 4, 1954 in California and was the daughter of Dave and Neva (Melton) Phifer. She married Steve Baines. She worked for U.W. Hospital for 15 years, recently employed at Straight Shots Delivery.
She is survived by her husband, Steve, a daughter Sheila Betts of Stoughton, a son Steven Barger of Nowata, OK; sisters, Betty Culp and Brenda Marchant both of Windsor; brothers Bernie Phifer of Nowata, OK, Benjamin Phifer of Stoughton; grandchildren, Zachary Betts, Jacob Betts, Tiffany Betts and Danny Betts all of Stoughton; nieces Donnell Phifer, Sarah Phifer, Amy Raley, Jessica Marchant and Samantha Phifer, nephews, Jason Marchant and Joe Burkeland and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Bryan and a sister Blynda Phifer

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2012, at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie.
