Betty W. Skrenes, age 96, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018, in Kenosha. She was born on April 17, 1921 the adopted daughter of Vivian and Anna Waldref of Leeds, Wisconsin. She was a long time resident of Sun Prairie and won numerous prizes for her Rosemaling. She is survived by three sons; Norman (Peg) of Meridianville, AL, Neal (Andrea) and Noel (Elaine) both of Tampa, FL, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Norman S. Skrenes, grandson Kevin Skrenes, and step-sister Breda (Butler) Lee.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Bristol Lutheran Church, 6835 County Hwy N, Sun Prairie. Pastor Jen Johnson and Bishop Emeritus Tom Skrenes will co-preside. A visitation will be held at the church starting at 12 p.m. until the start of the service.
