Betty A. Gullickson, age 78 died from end stage COPD at her daughter's home on Tuesday, October 31, 2017. She was born on April 19, 1939 in Kentucky, and was the daughter of Bill and Marcella (Delaney) Johns. She married Alvin “Chip” Gullickson on February 14, 1980
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Amato of Florida, Susan (Steve) Lawson of DeForest; Rachel (Matt) Holscher of Rio, 10 grandchildren/great-grandchildren, Cary (Stephanie) Lawson, Trenton Peterson, Taylor Peterson, Cayden Lawson, Steven (Sammi Jo Kirst) Lawson, Westin Lawson, Michelle (Mike) Winter, Jon (Sam Crook) Carpenter, Grant Rauls, Skyla Holscher; brothers and sisters, George Johns, Cecil Johns, Linda Woolums, Judy Pigg, Sheila Davis, James Johns, Debbie Duncan, Marcy Underwood and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her 1st husband Herman Hogue; 2nd husband Alvin Gullickson; 2 brothers Billy and Doug; and 1 sister Mary Cockrell.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at DeForest Evangelical Free church, 501 Country View Drive, DeForest on Friday, November 3, 2017. A visitation will be held from 2p.m. until the time of services at the church on Friday.
