I Will be forever grateful to my loving Auntie Bea.After losing my mother,Mary Ellen, she brought me into her home in Waterloo. With her comforting love she helped me get through a very difficult time in my life. A few weeks before Auntie Bea passed, Jackie, Joe and I played Euchre with her. She got two lone hands and made them both! We all saw that familiar smile, laugh and fun loving sparkle in her eye! Our special Auntie Bea, now in God's hands, you will be forever blessed and loved!

Jackie and family of dear Bea,
Many special memories are brought to mind when I think of your mom. When growing up with you, I always looked forward to spending time at your home. Your mom always made me feel welcome with a smile. She was a very special lady and was one of a kind! I know my brother, Dan, feels the same way. He spent many happy times at your home with your brother, Bruce. You were very fortunate to have her for so many years. I am sorry that I cant attend her funeral as I am visiting family in Florida right now. With sympathy and wishing you Gods peace

Dearest "Auntie Bea's" Family,

Alan and I send our most sincere condolences from our perch in Mill Valley, CA, to all of you as you gather in my homeland, to honor Bea. Since my college days, one of the joys of meeting & knowing Jackie was getting to know Bea. She was always welcoming, she was always smiling. We prompted stories from her about her many years at Oscar Meyer and marveled at how she could "sling ham", even though small in stature. Bea never lost her beauty and never lost her love & devotion to her family. Thank you to all of you for making easier & more fun her last few years of life. We are grateful to you. Don't we wish that we all will know such loving care. With much love, Ruby & Alan Unger
