Arnold D. Burke, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the Sun Prairie Health Care Center. He was born on November 7, 1928 and was the son of Carl and Sena (Johnson) Burke. He married Gwen Hoyt on December 21, 1951 in Madison. Arnie served in the U.S. Army in Europe. He worked as a Truck Driver for Swift Company, Town of Blooming Grove and Madison Sand and Gravel.
He is survived by his children, Dale (Joan) Burke of Fitchburg, Bonnie (Les) Lee of Marshall; 5 grandchildren, Austin (Jessica Waller) Burke of Chicago, IL, Deana Burke of Madison, Michelle (Dan) Lee-Kuhlow of Whitewater, Marci Conway of Marshall, Jon Lee of Marshall; 2 great grandchildren Mikaela Conway and Jake Kuhlow; a sister, Marion Falch (Chuck Halverson) of Madison; 2 brothers, Kenneth (Bonnie) Burke of Leesburg, FL, James (Judi) Burke of Waunakee
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Gwen; a sister, Burnette Benisch; brothers, Delbert, Raymond, Willard and Gordon.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Bristol Lutheran Church, 6835 Hwy N in Sun Prairie with Pastor Rick Reiten presiding. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Church on Saturday. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Bristol Lutheran Church or AgraceHospice Care.
