Ann M. King, age 79, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. She was born on February 28, 1937 in Sun Prairie and was the daughter of Roman and Estella (Scheuerell) Jesberger. She married Richard King on November 8, 1958 at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church. Ann worked for Central Wisconsin Center as a volunteer cordinator. She retired in 1998. She belonged to Homemakers Club, many card clubs, loved to travel and spend time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her 4 children, Michael (Lynn) King of Sun Prairie, Julie (Randy) Dahmen of Waunakee, Patrick (Sue) King of Waunakee, Susan (Mike) Culbertson of Sun Prairie; 8 grandchildren, Lisa King and Laura (Brian) Gaumont, Kara, Kyle and Kimberly Dahmen, Austin and Lane King and Nolan Culbertson; 2 sisters Dorothy (Lyle) Suchomel of Sun Prairie, Barbara Jesberger of Madison; 3 brothers, Ronald (Janet) Jesberger, Leo (Delores) Jesberger both of Sun Prairie and Paul (Mary) Jesberger of Sauk City. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard and parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert Drive in Sun Prairie. Monsignor Donald Heiar will preside. Burial will be in Sun Prairie Memory Gardens. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016 at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Tuesday. The family would like to thank the staff at Fresenius Dialysis Center and RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program).
