Alice L. Zickert, age 82, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022 in Madison. She was born on August 10, 1940 in Watertown to Carl and Edna (Rosenthal) Albrecht. She married James Zickert on June 18, 1960 at Trinity Lutheran in Marshall.
Alice worked as a Nursing Assistant at UW Hospital and for the Sun Prairie School District’s cafeteria for many years. She is survived by; a son Al (D’Ann) of Marshall; a daughter Cindy (Ted) Quam of Cambridge; 3 grandchildren Amanda (AJ) Vaklyes of Stoughton, Amanda (David Ludington) Quam of Cambridge, Brad (Cassey) Zickert of Belleville; 3 great-grandchildren Clarissa, Dean and Liam; a sister, Betty Oemig of Marshall and a sister-in-law Geneva Kuhl of Marshall. She was preceded in death by; her parents, husband James, and brother, Eugene Albrecht. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 550 Lincoln Drive in Sun Prairie. Pastor Seth Hecox will preside. Burial will be at Sun Prairie Memory Garden. A visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
