I remember Uncle Terry babysitting for us when it was only Brian, Dale as a baby and I in our new house on Queen St, Sun Prairie! It was summer and he taught us how to run around playing tag. I was about 5 yrs old. I remember when he came home from Alaska he had a movie making machine that all the adults were in awe over. He used it at Christmas and had someone hold the bright lights for him. He also was an awesome great uncle to my son, Dustin. The summer Dustin passed away, Terry let Dustin drive his tractor for the annual trailer rides for the kids. He let Dustin turn brats on his "Sacred" grill and even let Dustin sneak one before everyone else was told they were ready. Dustin sat next to Terry, eating the brat with his fingers, giggling the whole time. To me, Uncle Terry was a quiet man with a big heart. Every time I hugged him I came to tears because it felt like I was hugging my dad, Larry. Uncle Terry, watch over us, speak to us every time we go down your water slide or do Canon balls off your diving board. I will miss you! ❤

At a much younger age, Terry, Larry, and Ed would camp in the back of my in-laws home in Tomah while deer hunting. That began a lifetime of friendship which still goes on. My wife and I stopped many times over the years at Terry and Rita's home to look over the garden and landscape. And likely a beer or some homemade wine. OH, and I will never grow a Kohlrabi like those in their garden. We will miss you Terry and may God be with you Rita.
