Robert “Paul” Boerst, age 76, died on Sunday, October 19, 2020 at the HospiceCare Center in Janesville. He was born on November 16, 1943 in Toledo, Ohio and was the son of Homer and Mildred (Greenwood) Boerst. Paul married Connie Fakehany on March 14, 1969 in Toledo, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1961 to 1965. Paul played football at the University of Toledo. He was a salesman for automotive aftermarket parts for over 30 years. His biggest joy in life was spending time with his kids and grandkids.

He is survived by his children, Todd (Micki) Boerst of Wentzville Missouri, Heather (Jason) Powley, Sheri (Craig) Ouimette, Keri Boerst all of Sun Prairie; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Casey, Zachary, Carsen, Austin and Braden; granddogs Max and Lewie a brother William (Loretta) Boerst of Toledo, Ohio; and his girlfriend Marilynn Davison.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Connie in 2007; a sister Kaye Ritzenthaler.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Sacred Hearts Cemetery in Sun Prairie. Memorials can be made to Agrace Hospice.
