Randy Wallace Horkey, age 63, of Beloit, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Friday, May 13, 2022.
He was born on August 18, 1958 in Janesville, the son of James and Joyce (Holden) Horkey.
Randy graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1976. He attended UW Stout as a Graphics Arts Major and Teaching Education.
He worked at many places around the country: Paper press operator at Chicago Tribune, Graphic Arts engineer in Arizona, Texas and Wisconsin and was a Substitute Teacher in Graphics Arts at several high schools. Randy had most recently worked at Wendy’s as an associate.
He is survived by his 2 brothers: Paul of Beloit and John (Tamie) of Rockton; nephews: Chad, Matthew, Nathan, and Mylel Horkey; Nieces: Michelle(Tony) Hill and Alana Horkey.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew Paul Horkey Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Calvary Tabernacle Church 1907 McKinley Ave (corner of Burton St and McKinley), Beloit, with Pastor Rick Bailey officiating.
Friends may call on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at the church from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Burial will be in Orfordville Lutheran Cemetery.
