Phyllis Jean Feldt, age 89, passed away peacefully at Prairie Gardens Assisted Living on Sunday, May 16, 2021.
Phyillis was born on June 20, 1931 in Markesan, the daughter of Arthur and Laura (Boeck) Stellmacher. On January 14, 1951 she was united in marriage to Orrin Albert Feldt. She enjoyed helping run the family dairy farm in Kingston and was a dedicated and loving mother. After her time on the farm, she enjoyed working as a Dietician at Markesan and Sun Prairie schools when they moved to the Markesan area in 1975 and again to Sun Prairie in 1997. She was always extremely active in several United Methodist churches.
Phyllis is survived by her children Rick (Judy) Feldt of Naples, FL and Tim Feldt (Denise Quandt) of Sun Prairie; grandchildren, Nick (Patricia) Feldt of Miami, FL, Mike (Rachel) Feldt of Orlando, FL and Cole Feldt of Sun Prairie; great-grandson, Joshua Feldt of Miami, FL and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters and brothers; Sylvia, Arvilla, Laurina, Mylan, Forrest, Harold, Roland and other relatives.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Sun Prairie United Methodist Church, 702 North St., with Pastor Jenny Arneson presiding. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park in Monona. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 21, at Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St., in Sun Prairie. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the United Methodist Church in Sun Prairie. Please follow COVID rules.
