Patrick A. Zingshiem, age 70, passed away peacefully, surrounded by many family members, on Wednesday September 11, 2019, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. He was born on November 23, 1948 in Madison, to Anthony and Mary (Trainer) Zingshiem. He spent years working in factories, ending his career with 7up Bottling Company. He enjoyed fishing, helping with farm work when he could, and visiting with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Dianne Vandenbergh; children Scott (Gale) Long, Justin (Kari) Gammeter, Mike Gammeter, Brian (Beth) Long, Tammy (Jake) Howe, and Beth (Tim) Watson; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Michael and Tim Zingshiem; and a sister Sharon Wilson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Merrimac Village Hall, 100 Cook St. in Merrimac. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family.
