Mickey V. Ward, age 72, on November 9, 2022 fulfilled God’s purpose for his life, a life of loving and being loved by God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit. This love extended to his family and all those he knew and called friends. He would say that is a life well lived. He was born on August 25, 1950 in Madison and was the son of Victor and Margaret (Goodman) Ward. He married Patricia Mickelson on July 11, 1970 at Bethesda Church in Madison. Mickey worked for the Chicago North Western Union Pacific Railroad as a locomotive mechanic for 38 enjoyable years.
He is survived by his wife Trish; his children Travis (Katie) Ward, Treena (Charles) Fiesel; 5 grandchildren, Ward, Liberty, Blessa Fiesel, Cabe and Steele Ward; a sister Connie Payas and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Cheryl Morschauser
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Victory Center Church, 1711 Thierer Road in Madison. A private burial will be at Sacred Hearts Cemetery in Sun Prairie.
