It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Michael R Hartman Sr, of Sun Prairie, WI, on Monday November 23, at the age of 60 years.

He will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 40 years Susan, children: Kimberly Rae (Brian), Michael II (Mallory), and Joshua; Grandchildren: Brian, Hunter, Blake, Brandon, Brett, Haily, Tyler, and Mason; his Brother Robert (Nanette) Hartman, Sister Dixie Johnson; and his daughter in law Delia Hartman, as well as numerous relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his Parents: Betty and Stepfather Bob Dummer, and Father Henry Hartman; siblings Diane and Jeff; niece Kimberly; and infant grandson Tanner

Mike was a devoted and loving Husband, Father and Papa. Family meant everything to him. He had a deep respect and love for nature. His many passions included fishing, boating, camping, hunting, and a love for all animals.

A private family service will be held.

Father you will never be forgotten. I love you with every fiber of my bien, I have hundreds of great loving memories that I will tell my kids and they will tell there kids. Father I love you and will once again rejoice when we once again are together, I love you and always will!!

Mike was a funny, loving person. He would always take a walk and stop bye and say hi to me and the kids he always had a funny story to tell to make me laugh. I want to let Sue. Josh as well as the other children know that I am truly sorry for your loss. I know he is checking in on you to make you you are all okay, he will be deeply missed.

I knew Mike since I was a little boy. I knew him as Big Mike, because of being friends with his son Mikey. He was always very kind and generous to me. He was also one of the funniest people I have known. Big Mike was a good man and I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers to the family who I love.
