Orfordville/Janesville – Mary A. Haase, 90, passed away at Willowick Assisted Living, Janesville on Saturday, May 6, 2023.
She was born in Madison, February 14, 1933, the daughter of Earl and Alice (Sullivan) Carver.
She graduated from Orfordville High School in 1951. Mary spent her childhood working on her parent’s farm, Carver Farm. Mary was united in marriage to Jesse Haase on May 15, 1953 at Luther Valley Church.
Mary loved to crochet and collected rocks that people would send her from all over the world. She was also a 4-H member where she enjoyed showing cows and she had a large collection of cows. She took great pride in her flower gardens.
She is survived by his son: Michael (Janice), grandchildren: Jaime, Benjamin (Sarah) and Christopher; great grandchildren: Victoria, Sydney, Braedin, Macaylynn, Alex, Sophie and Ziva.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse; and daughter, Nancy Ann.
A memorial service will be held at Newcomer Silverthorn Chapel on the Hill at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 with Pastor Derek Mason officiationing. A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
