Marilyn Jane Wolff, age 75, died on Friday, July 9, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. She was born on December 8, 1945 in Madison to Herbert and Doris (Bork) Wolff.
Marilyn graduated from DeForest High School, and still kept in close contact with several of her classmates. She worked at the State of Wisconsin and for the University of Wisconsin Atmospheric and Oceanic Science Department, where she was a valuable point person in the Curriculum Committee helping students register for courses, especially those who were trying to get into the AOS program.
She is survived by her 3 sisters, Beverly (Gerald) Lange, Janice (Galen) Peterson, and Nancy (William) Schmidt; nieces and nephews Sara, Erik (Meshel) and Mark Lange, Chase (Megan) Peterson and Brooke Peterson, Timothy Schmidt and Andrew (fiancé Marissa) Schmidt; and an uncle, Donald (Karen) Bork.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Burke Lutheran Church, 5720 Portage Road in Madison with Pastor Robert Neubert presiding. A private burial will be a later date. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the time of service Saturday at the Church. In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to Burke Lutheran Church.
