Leona L. Haumschild, age 96, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 in Sun Prairie. She was born on November 28, 1914 in Coloma and was the daughter of Amil and Ida (Priepke) Hintz. Leona was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie. She is survived by her 2 sons, Wayne (Carol) Woodbury of Chicago, Larry (Marge) Woodbury of Sun Prairie; her step children, Ann Lee of Boscobel, Ruth Quest of Johnson Creek, Mary (John) Revolinski of Edgerton, Larry (Carma) Haumschild of Boscobel, Don (Linda) Haumschild of Fort Atkinson, Alice ( Ed ) Ley of Oconto Falls, , Robert (Arlene) Haumschild of Johnson Creek; 6 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband Lawrence Woodbury; 2nd husband Lawrence Haumschild; step children, Delores Buske, Jim Haumschild, Irene Wunderlin and friend Harold Quass.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 17, 2010 at Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie, with Pastor Julie Krohn presiding. Burial will be held at Richford Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:30a.m until the time of services at the funeral home.
