Kenneth Marvin Thompson, age 72, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 11, 2024. Ken was born in Madison on September 2, 1951, to Marvin and Patricia (Blaschka) Thompson. He married Sandy Meyers on October 25, 1980 in Sun Prairie.
Kenneth drove truck for Payne and Dolan Construction Services, and Pulvermacher Shipping and Transportation. His passion was auto racing! He drove and raced Minisprints for a few years but was an avid race fan attending as many races as he could.
Ken is survived by: his two brothers, Dennis (Jayne) Thompson, Gary (Sharon) Thompson; a sister Dawn Reierson; and nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Patricia Thompson and wife Sandy.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Ken on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Chandler Park, Pardeeville from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m
