Joy Anderson was a cheerful, faithful, devoted servant of the Lord. For six years, I attended church with and ministered with both Paul and Joy in AWANA and other church ministries. My heart grieves with you Paul, Josh, and Sara. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers often. Praise the Lord for the hope we have in him and the knowledge that we will see Joy again one day!
Terri Schuhmacher left a message on November 17, 2010:
We became aquainted with this wonderful family in 1997, when I came to teach at Calvary Baptist Christian School. Sara was in FOURTH grade at the time, WOW that seems so LONG ago! Mrs. Anderson, as we always called her, had a large part in teaching the children of the church. I sat in her Sunday School class a few times, and watched how mesmerized the kids were listening to her give the Bible stories. She seemed to have a passion for them, as she also worked in the Awana Club a long time. We will miss her, for a time. . . until reuinted again. God bless you, Paul, Josh, Sara; it has been a "long haul" for all of you. We will pray that your mourning subsides, and that God will give you an EXTRA measure of grace. We are glad we had the opportunity to know JOY! Love in Him, John and Terri Schuhmacher, Joel, Jadon, Bethany, and Brycen

You all have been and continue to be in our prayers. We grieve with you and rejoice with Joy. Not only is she well and safe in her Savior's care but also with those we have loved and have gone on before. I am sure Red and Dad have greeted her already and are showing her around heaven. We will be praying for you in the days ahead.
