Orfordville/Janesville – Jesse G. Haase, 92, passed away at U W Madison Hospital on
Thursday, July 7, 2022, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Beloit, March 5, 1930, the son of Gerald M. and Martha (Wilken) Haase.
Jesse attended Orfordville High School graduating with the class of 1948. He served in the U.
S. Army during Korean War. Jesse was united in marriage to Mary Carver on May 15, 1953 at
Luther Valley Church. Jesse worked City Service delivering propane from 1960 to 1990.
Jesse was a lifetime member of the American Legion Orfordville and was Commander. He was
also a member of the Decatur Lake and Bass Creek golf courses.
He is survived by his wife: Mary; son: Michael (Janice), grandchildren: Jaime, Benjamin and
Christopher; great grandchildren: Victoria, Sydney, Braedin and Macaylynn; brother-in-law:
Duane Kamholz; and many nieces and nephews.
Jesse was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Myrtle Edwards, Barbara Ann Haase and
Kathlene Kamholz; and daughter, Nancy Ann Haase.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at Newcomer Silverthorn Chapel on the Hill
from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date.
