I only had a year to get to know Uncle. But, what a great man! He was a positive, inspirational, sweet, and funny man through it all. He was so wise and had no problem sharing his wisdom. He will always have a special place in my heart!

You were my baby then and you are still my baby. I will always be here for you and I will always love you. I am glad that you are no longer in pain. I remember when you were born and how sick you were all the time but you were always a happy baby no matter how sick you were. Even through all this cancer you still managed to smile and have a sense of humor.

Mama loves you.

Having known you your whole life I have many wonderful memories of you. As a small girl I remember taking the bus with mom to go visit you in the hospital because you were so sick all the time in your first months of your life. Peering through the nursery window looking at you lying in that hospital bassinet and not understanding why our baby couldn't come home with us. Then as a little boy with the BIG head :-) I called you big head Ed and you never seemed to mind - that's because of your good nature. As a young teenager you were excited to become an Uncle and you were always very close to your nephews. They were just as fond of you as you were of them. You grew up to be a goodhearted, compassionate person never hesitating to help whoever you could. I will miss you immensely but look forward to seeing you again one day. Until then, look over us as we make our way through life and let us know from time to time that you are still here with us. I love you baby brother.
