Jennifer is survived by her sisters: Jeanne DeMeio and Judith DeMeio. Brothers: James DeMeio and John DeMeio. Beloved aunt to LaMarr Wylie, Jerome Jackson, Jessica, Joshua, Melissa and Michaela DeMeio. Great aunt to : Lamija (Mia), Jaleah (Gigi), Gideon, Luna and Camilo. Also, survived by many relatives and good friends. Jennifer received her degree in European History from the University of Whitewater, Wisconsin. She also studied LVN Nursing in San Francisco, California. Up until her death, she worked as a CNA in Madison, Wisconsin, where working with older adults was her true calling. Jennifer loved to travel, read books of interest, ride her bicycle, listen to music and also volunteer with various organizations. Most of all, she liked to watch the Badgers play basketball and sit in her favorite recliner. Laughter and having a lot of fun was very important ; as it always seemed to put herself and others, in a joyous place. Spirituality and faith was always with Jennifer, as she traveled along her life’s paths. She was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be missed forever: truly a bright shining light in this world. Words are inadequate to express the sadness I feel at the loss of my dear friend, so I can only imagine what her beloved family members must feel. My deep, sincere condolences to all of you. I will always remember Jennifer’s sense of humor, her love of the Lord, her profound sensitivity in caring for and nurturing sick, elderly patients, her concern for wayward mankind and the less fortunate, her generosity of spirit and her loving, loyal friendship for more than twenty years. I wish she’d understood that everyone carries wounds, which when shared, open up a way of dialogue, growth and mutual understanding. She is sorely missed. Having entered eternal life, let us all buoy her soul with love, so that she knows that she is supported and sustained from the earthly realm. Wishing her family, her friends and all who loved her solace and God’s peace during this difficult time.
