Jeffrey Towler Petet, age 52, passed away suddenly Thursday, May 5, 2022 at UW Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Jeff was born to Linda (Tranmer) and Jerry Petet on June 6, 1969 in Oakland, NE.
He grew up in Sioux City, IA and other Midwest states. He graduated in 1988 from Fargo, ND and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1990-1994. He was very proud to be a Marine and had great pride in America.
He married Lisa Oligmueller on October 16,1992 in West Point, NE and they then lived in Twenty-nine Palms, CA where he was stationed. He was the love of her life and her best friend, and this October they would have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary.
In 1994, they moved to WI and reside in DeForest. He was an Electrician by trade and was currently an Electrical Estimator/Project Manager for Nickles Electric.
Jeff and Lisa have 3 beautiful children, and 1 granddaughter. They were the pride and joy of his life. He was the rock of our family; loving, supportive and was always there when you needed him. He enjoyed working on his lawn, spending time with friends and family, grilling, bonfires, playing games and cards and just having a good time together.
Jeff had an amazing sense of humor and a quick wit, and could always make people laugh. He would take any song and change the words to fit the occasion. He loved 80s music and quizzed the family on which artist sang what song, which he now passed down to his kids.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Lisa, children Justin (Taylor) and granddaughter Finley of DePere, WI, Siera and Grace.
Parents, Linda Beck (Scott Rogers) of Sun Prairie, WI and Jerry Petet of West Point, NE.
