Janice M. Haak, of Sun Prairie/Madison, passed away unexpectedly and suddenly on Friday, May 28, 2021. She was 74 years old. Janice was preceded in death by her parents Ervin and Leontine Dushack, brothers Russell and Wilbur, her sister Rose, and great-granddaughter Gabrielle. Janice is survived by her sisters Barbara, Norma, and Dolores, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Janice is the mother of 4 children, Jeanette, Evonne, Daniel, and Erich. She has 8 grandchildren, Keesha, Acacia, Marcus, Xavier, Michaela, Hayden, Morgan, and Harrison; and 9 great-grandchildren. Janice loved to play cards, sell real estate, read books, and travel. She loved people, always seeing the best in others, and positively impacting them.
Janice was born, blinked, and then was gone. We miss her already.
If you can possibly stand the sarcastic humor of her family, or at least tolerate it, and would like to express your condolences and share some joyous memories of her life, we invite you to join the family at 11 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, Jun 25th, 2021 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 221 Columbus Street Sun Prairie, WI 53590. Father Thomas Kelley will preside. Visitation will be at 10am until the time of Mass at the Church on Friday. Burial will be at Sacred Hearts Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the Sun Prairie V.F.W., 349 S. Walker Way.
