I am so sorry for you loss. I remember when I was a kid, my grandparents were always too far away to come to school for Grandparents Day. One time Grandpa Hauri came to school with Mike and when I told him that my grandparents couldn't be there,he smiled at me with that contagious smile of his and told me that he would be my honorary grandpa for the day. I'll never forget that day. Matt Kleinschmidt

Memories flash through my mind as I read about Harry, I can see him and my dad Ervin in their overalls standing by the tractors in The drive at our house on Symthe School Road. I am so glad I went to the reunion in Afton, to see him! I am sure Butch, Dick, Rita are now having the reunion with him that they weren't able to be at! A wonder person who made the Hauri name something be proud of! So much more I could say but tears fill my eyes. So to my coz I will Just hold you all in my heart and memories close and thank God for letting me know my dads cousin!

I am very sorry to hear about Uncle Harry. I remember a long time ago, spending a few summers out at the farm. I think about those days quite often I also remember going with them a few times putting up antennas and towers for people. I remember helping in barn with milking, baling hay, and help with delivering a calf or two. My Condolences....Jim

Dear Nancy and family, I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your beloved father. Although I never had the privilege of meeting your father I had many talks over the years with Nancy and felt as lf I knew him. I am sorry I never got the chance to see his beautiful Lillie's and to shake his hand for his service to country and family. What a full life he had. Good bless you all
