Harry C. Dennis, age 95, died on Sunday, April 11, 2021 in Sun Prairie. He was born August 1, 1925 in Fenton, IL to Robert and Erma (Hunter) Dennis.
Harry served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1943 to 1946 as an airplane mechanic. He married Bernice “Bea” Allen in Moline, IL on September 27, 1947. Harry worked at John Deere Harvestor for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife Bernice “Bea”; 2 children, Sandra Dulin of Sun Prairie and Robert (Judy) Dennis of Clinton, IA; 4 grandchildren Tracy (Greg) Bowers of Waterloo, WI, Lynn (Don) McDonnell of Long Grove, IA, Jarod Dennis of Eldridge, IA and Stacey Dulin of Sun Prairie; 7 great-grandchildren, Brooke, Isabelle, Dylan, Payton, Shay, Kelsie, and Corrin; and 2 great-great-grandchildren, Charlette and Brody.
Harry is preceded in death by his parents; and son Donald.
Burial will be in Erie, IL, at the Erie cemetery.
