Florence M. Weber, age 99, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Oak Park Place Nursing Home in Madison surrounded by her family. She was born on January 19, 1913 in the Town of Bristol and was the daughter of Vincent and Mathilda (Benisch) Suchomel. She was united in marriage to Alois Weber on July 14, 1934 at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church. He preceded her in death in 1996. Florence enjoyed crocheting afghans and playing sheepshead with her grandchildren

She is survived by her children, Verna (John) Bedner, John (Ellen) Weber, Irma (Gene) Quamme, Diane (Walter) Vandervest, Karen (Ed) Castro, Janice Kocinski, Larry Weber, Rodney (Diane) Weber, 2 brothers, Rudy (Janet) Suchomel, Vernon (Carol) Suchomel, sisters-in-law, Ruth Suchomel, Mary Suchomel, Ria Suchomel, Leonore Weber; 30 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son-in-law, Wayne Kocinski; a grandson Kevin Castro; 4 brothers, Leander, Roman, Reinold, Al; 4 sisters, Frances Breunig, Cyrilla Deter, Cecilia Prosser and Agnes Webber.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 7, 2012 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 227 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie. Father John Putzer will preside. Entombment will be held at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie on Monday. The family would like to thank Agrace HospiceCare Inc. and the staff of Oak Park Place for the compassionate and wonderful care that our Mother received during these past years.
