Betty L. Fitzgerald, age 86, died on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Oak
Park Place. She was born on March 4, 1924 in Sheboygan and was the daughter of William and Anna (Brill) Schultz. Betty worked at the Department of Motor Vehicles for 15 years. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Quamme of Prairie du Chein, and Sharron (James) Oswald of
Madison, 6 grandchildren, Shane, Nicole, Chad, Denise, Andy, and Lindsay; 7
great grandchildren; and a sister, Darlene Heronymus of Yardley, PA. She
was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands; Gilbert “Gib” Nottling
and Merle Fitzgerald; a daughter Bonnie McElmurry and a grandchild Tammy McElmurry; two brothers, Bill and Lee.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2011
at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home 302 Columbus Street in Sun
Prairie. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m until the time of services at
the funeral home on Saturday. The family suggests in lieu of flowers,
memorials can be made to a charity of your choice.
