Douglas J. Bollig, age 81, passed peacefully with the comfort of his family on October 30, 2020, after a long battle with cancer. Doug and I had a standing bet for many years on how many snow days we would have. The funny thing was we could never remember which way we bet so each year we would laugh when 5 snow days happened, who owed who the case of Pepsi. He was one of a kind and loved every minute he spent with the students of Northside.
