Denny had lived an amazing life, even though it was rather short. Denny was a good friend. He was the kind of friend that stands by you when you need somebody to be there. Denny & I became friends in kindergarten. Fortunately, we were able to live within two blocks of each other, even all the way through high school. I think the reason we became such good friends over the years, was that we had a lot of the same interests (fishing, sports & chasing girls to name a few). I have to say Denny was quite the ladies man. As we grew older, we used to talk about challenges in our life, and issues it presented for the both of us (goals and dreams). Most importantly, we had each other to depend on. What is it that we remember when we think of Denny? I think everyone who knew him very well would agree was his ability to always light up a room. Denny's laughter, smile, positive attitude, and warm embrace, were just some of his greatest traits. These are what I will truly miss about Denny. He knew how to cheer me up when I had a bad day. That's the trademark of Denny. He always wanted to make people happy. Denny's death was sudden. I remember when I heard the news; I simply could not believe it. Denny was too young, but as it slowly occurred to me, I have realized that Denny indeed lived his life wonderfully. Denny was well loved, and did so many good things on earth (I'm sure he will do even more in heaven). I will forever be grateful for spending 35 years of my life with a friend like him. All the memories I have shared with him will forever be cherished & remembered. Denny will forever live in my heart...in our hearts. Denny is in heaven now. This is our time to grieve his death, but it's also our time to celebrate his life. Don't ever forget Denny. He never wanted to see people cry. He wanted to make everyone happy. Remember how he touched each and every one of our lives. How he made us laugh, and how good Denny was as a person. Denny, you will be forever missed, but know in the right time, we will meet you again. I know he is in a better place with his mother, eternally happy and joyful. Let's not remember his death, but remember the way he lived.

I am in shock of Denny's passing. I tried finding all of the Burke family after our camping days at Lake George. I was so close to Denny and the family. How wonderful they are. Denny will be very missed and is now in heaven with Jamie who Denny used to camp with. Jamie passed away at the age of 25. What sad times these are and 2 wonderful young men that left us before their time. He will be sadly missed. Love, Cathy Blakley

My heart felt sympathy to your family. You where SO funny and we had such great times every single time we ran into each other. Apparently Jesus need a laugh on his birthday so he called you home, I know you won't let him down. Rest in Peace my Dear Friend! And peace be with your family (know Heaven is just a vail and Denny is still with us always).

My warm memories of "Little Denny" at our family events are etched in my heart forever. His first day ever with me was placing his little palm print on plaques for all my Sunday School children. His bear hugs were the best ever. Denny, Cindy and Brian, my love surrounds you. I feel the love and support coming down from Mo in heaven and it comforts me today.

Growing up with lil Denny was always fun. From the days in Orland, to the weekends camping, Denny always managed to make us smile. Denny, Brian and Cindy, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I know in my heart that Denny is with Mo and they are both smiling down on you. Love you all.
