David “Butch” McNeill, age 85 passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg. He was born in Milwaukee on January 18, 1929, and was the son of Russell and Mamie (Palan) McNeill. He married Ruth Doyle on January 20, 1951, in Highland. He was a Chief Master Sergeant for the 115th Consolidated Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and the 128th Tactical Fighter Wing, Wisconsin Air National Guard, Truax Field in Madison from 1949 to 1985.
