Daro Larson

June 18, 1958 - September 11, 2020

Daro L. Larson, age 62, died on Friday, Sept. 11, 2020 at Nazareth House in Stoughton. He was born on June 18, 1958 in Madison and was the son of Duane and Rachel (Drunasky) Larson. He worked at Goodyear in Sun Prairie from 1978 until 1988.

He enjoyed riding his Honda motorcycle with his brothers and had pride in owning Ford muscle cars.

He is survived by his sisters, Debra (Randy) Spahn of Sun Prairie, LuAnne (Jeff) Wittchow of Columbus, brothers, Timothy Larson of Madison, Chris Larson of Sun Prairie.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Kerry and his grandparents, Albert  and Irene (Cripps) Drunasky and Earl Sr. and Anga (Mickelson) Larson.

A private service will be held. Burial will be at Sacred Hearts Cemetery

My sympathies go out to the Larson family. Knowing Daro was a big part of my life. He wasn’t only a wonderful person, he was my best friend. I would drive down to see him in Reeseville when he worked on his uncle’s farm milking cows, etc. Daro and I spent many hours playing cards and drinking lots of Mountain Dew at the house on Bristol Street. After I got married we still kept in touch - I would visit him at his apartment in Sun Prairie. I saw Daro in summer of 2019 at Nazareth in Stoughton. What a great person, what a great friend...he will always be missed.
