Brad R. Krause, age 40, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 from the result of an accident at work. He was born on January 25, 1971 in Madison and was the son of Ronald Krause and Barbara Lee. Brad served in the U.S. Army around the Desert Storm Era. He was a lifelong Badger Midget racing fan/owner and a flagman on the backstretch at Angel Park Speedway and a championship go-cart racer. Brad was also a accomplished and respected Journeyman Electrician for over 20 years. He was an advocate for his union brothers and sisters in Local #159. He enjoyed football, music, “storytelling”and cherished his mother, fiancée and family.
Brad is survived by his mother, Barbara Youngs; his fiancée, Rochelle Chadwick; her sons Matt and Tony (Teresa); granddaughter, Miranda; grandmother, Margaret Krause, sister, Diana (Jeff) Mohr; nephews, Trae and Chaz; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Ronald; grandparents, Glenn and Breta Lee and Lewis Krause.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie. Pastor Sylvia Lee-Thompson will preside. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday August 1, 2011 at the Funeral Home and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday. Burial will be held in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be set up in Brad’s name.
